Radford City Council to meet Monday, Sept. 25

RADFORD – Radford City Council will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at 7 p.m.

The meeting agenda includes:

Citizen comments on public matters: Please state your name for the record and please limit comments to three minutes or less.

Report: Homeless Outreach

Proclamations: Public Power Week, Fire Prevention Week and Arts and Humanities Month

Public Hearings: Vacation of Right of Way-110 Tyler Avenue and Vacation of Right of Way-52 Walker Street

Old Business:

  1. Vacation of right of way-110 Tyler Avenue
  2. Receive board of viewers report
  3. Authorize City Attorney to Draft Ordinance
  4. Vacation of right of way- 52 Walker Street
  5. Receive board of viewers report
  6. Authorize city attorney to draft ordinance
  7. Appointments to board and commissions
  8. City/University Joint Advisory Commission

New Business:

  1. CDBG Consolidated Annual Performance Report
  2. Ordinance 1793: Amend U.S. Cellular cell tower agreement

  4. Appropriation Ordinance 1787.11: $70,126-asset forfeiture
