NRV communities commemorate September 11 anniversary
Members of first responders from throughout Montgomery County gather at the 9/11 memorial at the county's government center in remembrance of their fallen comrades. The 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001 brought back different emotions for residents in southwest Virginia, and several gathered this past week at a Christiansburg memorial made from metal of the Twin Towers.
