RADFORD – Republican vice-presidential candidate Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) held a rally in Radford on Monday.

The rally, held at Radford University’s Dedmon Center, was Vance’s second solo event since being named former president Donald Trump’s running mate in his bid for reelection. Congressman Morgan Griffith, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and several other speakers also took the stage.

The rally occurred one day after President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential election. Vice President Kamala Harris will now face Trump in the November election.
