It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresa Lavern Rollins Taylor, who departed this life Monday, April 7, 2025, at 70 years old.

Born July 30, 1954, she was a beautiful soul who lived with the love of God shining brightly in her heart. Her life was a true reflection of grace, compassion, and steadfast faith. She touched so many with her prayers, her kindness, and her radiant spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham Rollins, Jr. and Mildred W. Rollins; her first husband, Samual A. Parris; her brother, Timothy I. Williams; and her niece, Veronica N. Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Angela L. Parris, Samantha A. Parris-Hunter (Chris) and DeWayne A. Parris; her grandchildren, Ronal A. Parris (Jessica), Alyssa D. Parris and Ryan A. Parris; her great-grandchildren, Zyan I. M. Parris, Anyri N. Yuvanavattana, Tylan A. Vaught, London A. Parris, Drevion M. Bakaitis, Cayden E. Johnson and Destiny G. Johnson; her sister, Sally Y. Taylor; her brother, Robert E. Rollins; her nephews, Richard J. Williams, James A. Taylor, Jordan A. Taylor, James R. Taylor and Jaylin B. Nowlin; a very special cousin, LeAudrey Arnold; her former husband, Duran W. Taylor; and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends who will carry forward her memory with love and gratitude.

A homegoing service to honor and celebrate Teresa’s life will be held at First Baptist Church, 555 West Rock Rd., Radford today, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. where friends are invited to join us in remembering the beautiful life she lived. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m.

Her love, compassion, gentle spirit and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.

The family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
