Verne Clayton Taylor, 83, of Dublin died, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Lewis Gale Hospital- Pulaski. He was born in Seattle, WA on Nov. 9, 1934 to the late Charles Laverne and Leaona Greene Taylor.
He retired from the Ford Motor Company, Avon Lake, OH as a manufacturing engineer. Verne was a lay minister affiliated with the United Methodist. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Tickle Taylor; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Bob Tatum, Cindy and Richard Hammond; sister, Susanna Palmason; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Jeffery, Aleacia, Christopher, Dennis, Dean, and Nicholas; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
