RADFORD – Radford Police Department Lt. Travis Coffey recently won first place at a strongman competition in Ohio.
“One of our very own lieutenants made history today while competing in the Arnold Masters Strongman Championship,” the police department announced. “Lieutenant Coffey took first place in the 2025 Arnold Masters Strongman Championship. His dedication, consistency, and determination set him apart from the competition. Lieutenant Coffey secured his place by excelling in multiple local and regional events in his weight division, earning a spot in this competition.”
Coffey competed in five disciplines, including the Slater Max Log Press, Trap Bar Deadlift for Reps, Rogue Yoke Walk, Grip Gauntlet and the Sandbag/Húsafell Sandbag Loading Medley. The Arnold Sports Festival is known as the largest and most prestigious annual multi-sport event in the world. The 2025 event was the inaugural Masters Strongman competition at the Arnold, which is in Columbus, Ohio.
