Destruction of Records Notice
Radford City Schools will be purging Special Education records for any former
student who graduated during the 2020 – 2021 school year. According to the
Records Retention and Disposition Schedule of the Library of Virginia, records
may be destroyed five years after a student graduates, completes a Board of
Education program, transfers or withdraws.
If you were a student who received Special Education services while enrolled in
Radford City Schools and would like your records, please call Radford High
School at 540-731-3649 by May 15, 2026. Records can be picked up by
appointment with Teresa Phillips, Registrar, Radford High School, 50 Dalton
Drive Radford, VA. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
