A photo by Joseph Pack of Fairlawn of cloud reflections on Pandapas Pond, taken during the club’s outing, won The Radford Photo Club’s June Reflections challenge.

Allison Franklin of Pulaski won the open theme challenge with a photo taken at Beagle Ridge Herb Farm in Wytheville. They grow lavender and herbs. Allison walked around and took pictures of the butterflies enjoying milkweed.

Photo outings planned for coming weeks include a July 17 outing at Hahn Garden in Blacksburg. The time depends on temperature, so watch The Radford Photo Club’s Facebook page. Other outings will be critters in Peak Creek as it traverses the town of Pulaski and the Wilderness Road Regional Museum in Newbern.

The next meeting is Wednesday, July 22, at 6 p.m. at the Radford Public Library. The photo challenge for the July meeting will be Flowers. Challenge photos must be taken within the year. There is also an open category. There is no time limit on open category photos.

The July program will be a show of photos from New England. The August program will be a show of photos from Alaska.

The club includes photographers of all experience levels from throughout the New River Valley. Club officers are Jennifer Franklin of Pulaski, Tracy Burlingame of Riner, and Chuck Lynch of Christiansburg.
