The deadline to run as a qualified candidate for the Nov. 3, 2026 Radford City Council and Mayor and Radford City School Board election has passed, and the list of candidates is set. Five candidates will be running for two open seats on city council, and Vice Mayor Seth Gillespie is running unopposed for the mayor’s seat. Five candidates will be running for three open seats on the school board.
