The Radford Chamber of Commerce celebrates Norman’s Cabinetry as a new Chamber member in a ribbon-cutting ceremony held June 16 at the shop, located at 1116 West Main St., Radford. Norman’s has been part of the Radford business community since 1965, when, according to the company website “Norman Jones, our founder, saw the need for custom cabinetry in Radford. That July, he opened Norman’s Cabinet and Woodworking Shop and with one kitchen display and a small shop Norman began building custom cabinetry. Over the years we have gone through many changes and grown several times. We became Norman’s Cabinetry and expanded both our shop and our showroom (which includes our original shop). Today we are still a family-owned business in our second generation of ownership, with Norman’s two sons keeping the tradition of fine custom cabinetry going in Radford.”
