RADFORD – Have you ever wondered what secrets, hauntings and local legends are swirling around

us?

Join us for Myths, Mysteries, and Spirits: A Haunted Tour of Radford to hear the inside stories of what may be lurking in the shadows of the community.

Hosted by Ingles Castle and Glencoe Mansion, there will be four Haunted Tours the evening of Oct. 14.

Come hear about the Victorian Age and the death ways of the era. Explore beliefs about death and dying, as well as how the living continued to honor and remember those that had departed, during the 19th century. Join former history instructor B. Scott Crawford on this macabre journey through a fascinating period.

Guests will then board the “Ghoul Bus” to explore the local legends surrounding some of Radford’s most storied sites. The experience concludes with a visit to the opulent and eerie “Ingles Castle” where a spooky cast of characters will guide individuals through the home. At the Castle, guests will meet face to face with the infamous “Lady in the Mirror.”

Tour times begin at 5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:15 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Tickets are required and space is limited, so act now to secure your spot. Tickets are $30. Purchase tickets online now at www.inglescastle.com (with additional processing fee). Due to site limitations, the tour requires climbing stairs and walking reasonable distances.
