Marceline Smith Hunter, 92, of Radford, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Reid and Clara Hill Smith; her loving husband, John James Hunter; and her sister, Nancy Jackson.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Dennis Hunter (Frances), Susan Huff (Alfred), Mark Hunter (Becky), Jeffrey Hunter (Debi), Carol Andrews (Calvin) and Ricky Jackson (Kathy); grandchildren and their spouses, Marceline, Griffith (Kelly), Lindsey (Zach), Emily Kait (Caroline), Megan (Austin), Lexie and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Ayriana, Demitrice, Emma, Layla, Nora and baby Hunter on the way; and many other family members and special friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and nurse Ireland for the love and care shown to Marceline during this time.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Grove United Methodist Church in Radford. A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. with Rev. Jan Angle officiating.

The Hunter family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
