Letter to the editor
I am Annyce Levy and am writing to endorse David Horton for mayor of Radford.
David has the management skills and the foresight to move our community forward.
Serving on city council involves knowing how your city functions, researching the issues and knowing when and how to make decisions. I believe that David possesses these skills and qualities.
David believes that the citizens should also be partners in the plans and decisions that affect everyone, recognizing the importance of expanding technology education in our schools and of expanding workforce opportunities.
We must invest in change if we are going to survive as a city. David has begun a conversation that invites you to join him and new council members to participate in a new life for Radford.
I know that David possesses the ability to engage this community and its citizens in the journey to becoming the city we envision. “Help us grow as a city.”
