We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Cameron Heath Johnson, 38, of Blacksburg. With heavy hearts, we share that Cameron has left this world to be embraced in his heavenly home. Cameron was born Oct. 25, 1986, in Montgomery County.

Cameron was preceded in death by his beloved father, Richard M. Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Richard L. and Virginia W. Johnson, all of Blacksburg; his maternal grandparents, Raymond M. and Ruby D. Fisher; his uncle, Vincent R. Fisher of Christiansburg; and his stepsister, Lori T. McGuire. He was also preceded by many great uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, with whom we are certain he is now joyously reunited.

He leaves behind his partner, Kimberly Booth, and their two sons, Jaxen (10) and Vincent (6), all of Blacksburg. Cameron is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda Fisher Turman and Bill Turman of Copper Hill; his brother, Charles E. Estes, and his partner, Lindsey Roper, of Athens, Ga.

A service to honor Cameron’s life was held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at New Hope Church of God, Christiansburg, with Reverend T. Michael Bond officiating.

May Cameron’s memory be a blessing to all who knew him. His lifelong friends will serve as pall bearers: Jason, Ryan, Terrell, Frankie, Nicky, and Stephen.

Cameron was a big presence in the lives of all that knew him. He had a love for the Hokies, music festivals, his family and friends. We have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support from his many friends. A special thank you to Seth Abramson and Roxanne Bond for all the love, help, and support. We ask that everyone continue to pray for his sons Jaxen and Vincent as they continue to navigate life with the help of their Guardian Angel.
