Christiansburg police have charged seven individuals with stealing Halloween decorations from multiple homes in the town.
In several incidents, the suspects came back to individual homes on consecutive nights in and around the Hans Meadow residential area.
The items stolen were estimated to cost thousands of dollars. The incidents took place on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28.
Gavin Jett of Heathsville, Va., and Blaine Cecchini of Virginia Beach, both 19 years old, face eight charges with the most serious one being grand larceny. They also face one count of trespassing and seven counts of petit larceny.
Also, 18 year-old Cameron Lee of Abingdon has been charged with one count of grand larceny, one count of trespassing and six counts of petit larceny. 19 year-old Grayson Cahill of Va. Beach is charged with one county of grand larceny, one count of trespassing and five counts of Petit Larceny.
Andr19-year-oldah Hawkins and Chase Payne, all 19 of Radford, were charged with one count of trespassing.
Their first court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 18 in Montgomery County General District Court.
