Local and regional artisans will showcase their work at the 48th Annual YMCA at Virginia Tech Craft Fair, at the Blacksburg Community Center Nov.10 – 12.

This three-day arts and crafts event features over 60 juried artisans displaying their wares. The Fair hosts some of the area’s most prominent artists and makers in a broad geographical region reaching beyond Virginia.

Arts and crafts categories include jewelry, metals, glass, woodworks, photography, stained glass, painting, sculpture, soaps and candles, furniture, pottery, and textiles.

Hours of the Craft Fair are Friday Nov. 10, 1 – 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m. – 7 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“This is a perfect opportunity to shop for the holidays, support the arts community, see your neighbors and celebrate community,” a YMCA at Virginia Tech press release said.

There is a $1 suggested donation admission fee, and all proceeds support the YMCA at Virginia Tech’s community outreach and leadership programs.

For further information, visit www.vtymca.org/craftfair or @vtymca and Facebook for sneak peeks of the vendors’ items.
