Whitescarver, Mildred Ann

Mildred Ann Whitescarver, 63, of Christiansburg passed unexpectedly at her home, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020.

Mildred was born Dec. 31, 1956, in Radford. She was a proud mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was unforgettable and left her mark everywhere she went.

Mildred was preceded in death by her father, Kyle McGuire; a brother, Benton McGuire; a granddaughter, Sadie Culverhouse; and her beloved pet, Enga.

She is survived by her mother, Glada Luckadoo of Christiansburg; her brother, Darrell McGuire of Roanoke; two sisters, Ramona and Kenny Richards of Christiansburg and Joyce Bain of Floyd; her boyfriend, Allen Pack, Jr. of Christiansburg; two daughters, Jennifer McGuire of Radford and Janice McGuire of Dublin; four grandchildren, Devin Culverhouse of Christiansburg, Tiffany Pinion of Blacksburg, Fayth Culverhouse of Christiansburg and Seth Burleson of Dublin. She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and many cousins.

Mildred was much loved by many and will be missed dearly.

The family will have a memorial service/celebration of life on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Abundant Praise Congregational Holiness Church, 212 Denby St. Radford. Any and all friends are welcome to come celebrate her life with us from 5-7 p.m. Preacher Jerry Shepherd and Jube Burke will be officiating.
