Ronald Clarke Wallcraft, 65, passed away surrounded by family Mar. 21, 2026, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born Aug. 19, 1960, in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, to James Orval Wallcraft and Mary Jane Louise Sexton Wallcraft, the family immigrated to the U.S. in 1967. Clarke is survived by his mother, Mary Jane; sister, Angela Mae Wallcraft Wortman; and daughters, Nancy Jane Wallcraft Boyd, Brooke McRae Wallcraft, Hope Elizabeth Wallcraft and Kathleen Grace Wallcraft Bonnett.
Clarke was a successful environmental conservationist and enjoyed a career in the Public Sector as a water professional, which spanned over three decades in Virginia, with specific attention to water treatment and reclamation. He also volunteered for numerous Professional Boards and Associations within Virginia, focusing on water education, the development of scientifically based Virginia water regulations, and the development of future water professionals through many of Virginia’s public university engineering and environmental colleges.
In retirement, Clarke enjoyed the warmth of Florida, the love of fishing, and the opportunity to make music with his band mates whenever possible. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his four children and extended family. May the memories of Clarke be forever remembered and loved.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or the E.T. York Haven Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, Florida. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, 1-3 p.m., at the Williston Woman’s Club in Williston, Florida.
