Homer Thomas Vaught, age 83, of Christiansburg died, Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on December 7, 1934 to the late Clayton Thomas and Erma Kessinger Vaught.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Hylton, Virgie Odham; one brother, John Vaught. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Linda Vaught, Barry Vaught, Timmy and Rita Vaught, Donnie Vaught; daughters and son-in-law, Sherry Mabry and companion, George Stewart, Cindy and John Thornton; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Dillon, Bernice Elam.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 in the Harless Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Lee Price officiating.
The family received friends on Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA.
