Mark Dwayne Vaughn, 63, of Radford, born on Sept. 19, 1959, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 3, 2023.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Harold Vaughn; and his former wife and mother of his children, Ann Vaughn.

Left to cherish memories of him are his son, Derek Vaughn; his daughter, Ashley Lytton (Keith); grandsons Zach Vaughn and Caleb Lytton; mother Corrine Vaughn; brothers Jody Vaughn (Sherri), Josh Vaughn (Kim); sister, Angie Rutledge (Thom) and many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews and great-nieces who will all deeply miss him.

Mark was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved watching his grandson play sports and often practiced with him. He appreciated the outdoors, enjoyed grilling out, watching football, listening to music, and spending time with the ones he loved.

Mark graduated from Christiansburg High School in 1977 where he developed his love of sports and played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He also has a passion for coaching youth in football at Christiansburg and Blacksburg High Schools.

Mark owned and operated multiple construction businesses throughout his life.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Ty Cannaday officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
