Updated calendar for Radford schools has students returning in-person Jan. 11

RADFORD – Radford City Public Schools students will resume remote learning on Jan. 6 and in-person learning on Jan. 11.

Details about the calendar include:

Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 — School buildings will be closed to everyone including students and faculty/staff. All students will attend school remotely and complete any assignments not submitted for the second-quarter grading period from Nov. 30 through Jan. 8.

Thursday, Jan. 7 and Friday, Jan. 8 — School buildings will be closed to students. Teachers will have asynchronous learning lessons posted for all students, both hybrid and virtual for these two days.

Friday, Jan. 8, is now the final day of the second-quarter grading period.

Monday, Jan. 11 and Tuesday, Jan. 12 — Students will return to in-person learning on the original hybrid Rockin’ R’s and Bobcats schedule. All buildings will open for students and faculty/staff. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 is the first day of the third quarter.

Thursday, Jan. 21 and Friday, Jan. 22 — Second-quarter report cards to be sent home.
