RADFORD – Mark your calendars! On Sunday, Dec. 22 at 1 p.m., Santa will be trading his sleigh for a ride with the Radford City Police Department.

“We’re thrilled to spread holiday cheer throughout our community again this year and can’t wait to see all your smiling faces along the way,” the department announced.

This year’s Santa Police Cruise will follow the same route as last year, making it easy for everyone to catch a glimpse of Santa as he makes his rounds through our city. Keep an eye on the Radford City Police Department Facebook page to see where Santa will be and approximately when he’ll arrive in your neighborhood.

“Get ready to wave, cheer, and snap some photos as Santa brings holiday magic right to our streets,” the announcement continues. “Help us make this year’s event extra special by inviting your friends and neighbors to join in the fun. Let’s show Santa the love and spirit of Radford. We can’t wait to celebrate the season with you!”

Stay tuned for updates and follow the department on Facebook for all the latest details.
