RADFORD – This Friday, Feb. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m., join The Radford University College of Visual and Performing Arts at the Radford University Art Museum on Tyler, located at 214 Tyler Ave., for a reception for the Textile Artists of Virginia exhibition currently on display called Balance.
By definition, “balance” describes a condition in which forces are evenly held, opposites find accord, and the mind remains open to multiple perspectives. However, in these works, TAVA members consider balance as more than mere steadiness or grace, understanding it as fundamental to well-being and communication. When balance is lost, confusion, strain, and discord often follow.
The public is welcome to come by, meet the artists and enjoy some refreshments.
