David Eugene Terry, 63, went to be with the Lord on Mar. 7, 2024.
David was a proud Marine serving overseas for three years from 1979 – 1981.
He is preceded in death by his infant son David Ryan Terry; father James Terry; sister Angie Lynch; mother and father-in-law Louise and Bill Hamblin; as well as his beloved dog, of 14 years, Tanner.
David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kay Terry; son Derek and wife Brittany; mother Nina Miller; brother Steve and wife Lynn; grandchildren Brooklyn, Victoria, Liliana, and Liam; a special niece Marti Hamblin “Loulou” and her son Kamron; sisters-in-law Donna and JD Duncan and Peggy Wickline; special uncles Wilburn Miller, Willis Miller; aunt Nancy Puckett and husband Larry; along with many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and loved friends.
Services were held Tuesday, Mar. 12, 2024, at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Jerry Shepherd and Jube Burke officiating. A visitation preceded the service at McCoy Funeral Home.
