Virginia Tech Athletes has begun a new initiative aimed at selling out Lane Stadium virtually

The Lane Stadium Virtual Sellout, presented by Coca-Cola, allows fans the opportunity to purchase a virtual seat, row or section for exclusive Hokies commemorative items and access. The goal of the initiative is to sell at least 65,632 virtual tickets, thereby selling out Lane Stadium.

All revenue from this season-long initiative will go to support Virginia Tech student-athletes and help mitigate the forecasted budget deficit as a result of COVID-19.

Virtual ticket options range from $10 each to $1,000. There is also an option to buy the entire stadium of virtual seats for $500,000 if a fan or group of fans wants to put their name on the initiative.

Each virtual ticket option offers a variety of commemorative items with every option offering the opportunity to win a VIP Experience at a football game in 2021. The most basic ticket option ($10) includes one scratch-off ticket while the $1,000 option includes 20 chances.

The available virtual ticket options are as follows: 1) single ticket, general admission, $10, including one scratch-off ticket mailed; 2) single ticket, premium, $25, includes three scratch-off tickets plus a sheet of the original 2020 season tickets; 3) a row, 20 seats, $200, includes 10 scratch-off tickets, two sheets of the original 2020 season tickets, an exclusive Virginia Tech Tervis 20-oz. Tumbler and a link to be on Zoom on the video board in Lane Stadium for a game this season; 4) a section, 100 seats, $1,000, includes 20 scratch-off tickets, six sheets of the original 2020 season tickets, two exclusive Virginia Tech Tervis 20-oz. Tumblers, a Virginia Tech fleece blanket, an 11×14 canvas print of Lane Stadium, a link to be on Zoom on the video board in Lane Stadium for a game this season and an invitation to an exclusive Zoom chat with former Virginia Tech student-athletes (held in October and/or November); 5) the entire stadium, 65,632 seats, $500,000, includes all of the above plus access to a suite in Lane Stadium for one game during the 2020 season if capacity allows (with an option for 2021, if not).

Please note that the purchase of virtual tickets does not count as donations to the Hokie Club or the Keep Jumping Fund.
