Christine “Teeny” Spencer, age 75, of Pilot died, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Amonate on Jan. 22, 1941 to the late Roscoe Alvis and Mary Edith Lutz Eanes.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Charles Spencer; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Dean and Connie Spencer, Mark David and Khristy Spencer; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Brenda Eanes; grandchildren, Matthew Spencer and wife, Cassie, Andrew Spencer and wife, Katie, Whitney Breeden and husband, Davey, Michael Spencer and wife, Alexa, Gabriel Spencer, Malachi Spencer, Charity Spencer; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Hannah Abate and Debbie Davis.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. prior to the service.
