Betty Jo Sheppard, 70, of Blacksburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Sheppard; son, Brian Sheppard; sister, Bonnie Royal.
Betty is survived by her son, Joseph Sheppard and wife, Cathy; granddaughter, Madison; sister, Joyce Surface and husband, Eric; sister, Barbara Thompson; nephew, Tony Crawford and wife, Heather; niece, Melissa Thompson; nephew, Blake Royal; and good friend, Jackie Woolwine.
Betty Jo will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as giving to others first. A graveside service was held on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with Pastor Shake Smith officiating.
