Christina Lynn Schoendorf, 49, of Christiansburg, Va. went home to her heavenly Father on July 16, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Schoendorf. Survivors include her mother, Margaret Quesenberry, daughters, Amber Shepherd and David, Ashley Schoendorf, sisters, Angel Griffith, Kimberley Potts and Scott Bennett, Tina Schoendorf, grandchildren, Connor, Ashlynn, Harper, Kadence, Madalynn, Aiden, special cousin, Dee Dee Weddle, special friends, Cathy Dehart, Christina O’keefe, Jennifer Oakes. Christina also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews.
Christina graduated Phi Alpha from Radford University, class of 1995, with a bachelor degree in Social Work where she spent over 20 years helping families in the New River Valley and Roanoke City areas. Christina had more than a career in the social work field, she put her heart and soul in the services she provided. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all she crossed paths with.
Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Pack officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Women’s Resource Center or Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Visitation with family and friends will be at 1-2:00 pm prior to service at the McCoy Funeral Home.
