On Sunday, May 29, Roger Lee Poff, 78, of Christiansburg, went home to be with our Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Oliver and Ruby Vest Poff; two sisters, Gwendolene Howard and Josephine Thomas; and one brother, Carl Poff.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Emma Price Poff; one daughter, Tina Jones (Michael); two sons, Jeffery Poff (Betty) and Rodney Poff; grandchildren Kristan Poff, Ashley Wright (Bradley), Logan Poff, Casey Teubert (Zack), Leslie Jones, Shayne Poff, Kimberly Smith (Michael); eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Millard “Junior” Poff (Francis) and Hubert “Buddy” Poff (Shirley); and one sister, Francis Sowers (James).
The family received friends on Friday, June 3, 2022, at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, followed by services in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel and a graveside service at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
