In conjunction with the launch of individual game night ticket sales, Calfee Park Baseball and the Pulaski River Turtles have released their 2025 promotional nights calendar.
Select promotions will be spotlighting Calfee Park’s 90th anniversary this season, including the highly anticipated Pulaski Counts Series slated for July 29 and July 30. The expansive list of promotional nights also includes traditional favorites such as Agriculture Night, the cowboy-themed Saddle-Up Sunday and Circus Night. The 2025 promotional calendar begins with the return of “A Game for Hope” on June 3. The slate of promotional events includes:
Thursday, June 12: Circus Night One of Calfee Park’s top promotional nights is back. Circus Night presented by RJ Young and K92 returns, featuring award-winning entertainment act Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act for a night of dazzling stunts during the game. Chuckles the Clown will also be present to create balloon masterpieces for fans of all ages.
Wednesday, June 25: Family Fun Night Q99’s Family Fun Night features a General Admission ticket discount at the gate for adults and children ages six and older.
Saturday, June 28: Commemorative Bobblehead The first 300 fans to enter the park will receive a free bobblehead commemorating Calfee Park’s 90th anniversary, courtesy of Collision Plus and Pulaski County.
Friday, July 11: Christmas in July Help us give back to our community and we’ll pay it forward! Bring a packaged toy and receive a free General Admission ticket at the gate on the day of the game. Santa will be present, and all toys will be donated to the Pulaski County Christmas Store. Fireworks following the game.
Saturday, July 19: Agriculture Night A Calfee Park tradition. Agriculture Night presented by Farm Credit is returning this season featuring the popular Ag Night jersey auction. Don’t miss the fashionable threads the River Turtles will sport July 19. A petting zoo will also be on-site for fans of all ages courtesy of 4-H and the Virginia Cooperative Extension Pulaski Office.
Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30: Pulaski Counts Series Calfee Park’s commemorative 90th anniversary program culminates with a legendary team rebrand. For the first time in its five-year history, the Pulaski River Turtles will play under an alternate identity, taking the field as the Pulaski Counts for a two-game series against the Bluefield Ridge Runners. Promotions include throwback uniforms, a jersey auction for charity and more.
In addition to special promotional nights, Calfee Park will host the following weekly promotions in 2025:
- Sunday Games: “Sunday Savings” concession specials presented by Pulaski First United Methodist Church.
- Wednesday Games: “Waggin’ Wednesday” – bring your dog to the park!
- Thursday Games: “Thirsty Thursday” drink specials.
- Friday Games: “Fireworks Fridays” – a fireworks display following the game.
NEW for the 2025 season – Friendly Foes Free Ticket Program. Catch Pulaski River Turtles road games at Bowen Field in Bluefield for free.
Here’s how the Friendly Foes Free Ticket Program works: River Turtles fans that have retained a ticket to a home game at Calfee Park during the 2025 season can present the ticket stub at the Bowen Field box office and exchange it for a free General Admission ticket to a River Turtles away game at Bowen Field. Similarly, Ridge Runners fans that have retained a ticket to a home game at Bowen Field during the 2025 season can present the ticket stub at the Calfee Park box office and exchange it for a free General Admission ticket to a Ridge Runners away game at Calfee Park.
The used ticket stub must be from the 2025 season and can be from any Appalachian League game played at Calfee Park or Bowen Field. A ticket stub can only be exchanged for a General Admission ticket.
