RADFORD – Since 2008, athletes, coaches and supporters of the athletic programs at Radford High School have been inducted annually into a Hall of Fame, and the Hall of Fame Committee recently announced the newest crop of inductees.
The new inductees will be honored on the field before the homecoming game of Oct. 1. The formal induction ceremony will be Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. in the RHS Auditorium. The school community is invited.
The members of the Radford High School Hall of Fame Class of 2021 are Dave Bisset, Rick Cormany, Guy Gilmore, Gina Miano, Pat O’Morrow, Darris Nichols, and Shane Nichols.
Hall of Fame inductees “must exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character and carry the endorsement of their peers,” according to the committee’s nomination standards.
