RADFORD – The Radford City Police Department has recognized and congratulated Communication Supervisor Kim Conner on her completion of the APCO Registered Public-Safety Leaders (RPL) Designation.

APCO International’s Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) Program is designed for individuals interested in developing a solid foundation of management and supervisory skills necessary for successful PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) operations.

RPL recipients receive a certificate of acceptance into the APCO Institute Registry of Public Safety Leaders, a prestigious acknowledgment of excellence within the 911 profession.

Conner was able to attend the 2022 APCO International Conference in Anaheim, Calif., to receive her certificate.

“The Radford City Police Department is incredibly proud of Communications Supervisor Kim Conner for her perseverance and dedication to being an inspirational leader,” the department announced.
