Radford’s Taylor, Carter first team TRD

The Three Rivers District has released its basketball all-star team with two Radford Bobcats topping the first team. 

Sincere Taylor was named to the first team boys’ squad, while Kearson Carter was first team on the girls’ side of the court. 

Three Radford players were named to the boys’ second team including Daniel Dehart-Lewis, Luke Woodard and Mekhi Martin.

The River Ridge District has announced its end-of-the season all-star teams. Blacksburg’s Wade Bland and Christiansburg’s Kaleb Robinson were named to the boys’ first team. Bland’s teammates, Chanler Montgomery, Xavier Bland and Mason King, were given second-team honors. 

Blacksburg’s Trey Saville and Christiansburg’s Ian Velickovic were second teamers. 

Christiansburg’s Katy Hoover and Blacksburg’s Riley Price were named to the girls’ first team. Blacksburg’s Byrnn Ferguson and Kailyn Brawley were second teamers.

Kaleb Robinson of Christiansburg were named to the boys’ All-Region 3D honorable mention. Blythe Akers of Christiansburg was named to the girls’ All-Region 3D second team, and Katy Hoover was honorable mention.

The Pioneer District also announced its end-of-the-year all-district team with Eastern Montgomery’s Camden Sutphin being named to the first team for boys. Teammates Cyrus Underwood and Talen Bruce were second team. 

On the girls’ side of the court, Eastern Montgomery’s Macie Akers, Hailey Akers and Caiden Roupe were all second team. Eastern Montgomery’s Oliva Boone and Ajia McHone were honorable mention.
