Radford’s on-campus MBA program included on The Princeton Review’s lists of the best

The Princeton Review has, once again, recognized Radford University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program as being among its Best Business Schools for 2023: On-Campus MBA Programs.

The list is part of this year’s Best Business Schools guide, offered annually by The Princeton Review, an education company that ranks colleges and graduate schools. Radford University’s program made the guide’s ratings of schools in the Southeast.

“This outstanding recognition is the expected outcome of the high-quality MBA offered by the Davis College faculty and staff,” said Joy Bhadury, Ph.D., dean of the Davis College of Business and Economics. “While we have known that to be true all along, it is indeed gratifying to see such approbation of our high quality, for yet another year in a row, from an organization such as Princeton Review.”

The Princeton Review’s rankings are derived from data the company gathers from administrators at 390 business schools and from surveys of about 30,000 students who have been enrolled in the programs over the past three academic years.

In its comments on Radford, The Princeton Review wrote: “Repeat business is one of the telltale signs of success in retail, and by that standard, Radford University must be doing a pretty good job; a considerable number of students in our survey self-identified as former Radford undergrads, and nearly all cited their satisfaction during their first go-around as the reason for pursuing an MBA here.

“With an undergraduate population consisting of approximately 25% business majors, Radford has a large customer base from which to draw graduate students. You could say that business is booming at Radford’s [Davis] College of Business and Economics.”

Radford University MBA director Can Dogan, Ph.D., called The Princeton Review’s latest endorsement “the outcome of years of hard work and dedication by faculty, staff and students.”

This year’s recognition also marks a culmination for on-campus MBA training, which, over the summer, became entirely virtual.

“We have redesigned our MBA program as fully online while offering the same high-quality content and flexibility,” Dogan explained. “I am so happy that our fast-track MBA carries this legacy to the online platform, and I’d like to congratulate my colleagues once again and take this opportunity to reiterate our full commitment to the highest standards in graduate-level business education.”

The Princeton Review has consistently named Radford University in its ratings of Best Online MBA Programs in the United States, based on institutional data including career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor, among other factors. It has also cited Radford University in its “Best in the Southeast” list, as well as “2022 Best Colleges: Region by Region” and “Best Business Schools” for 2012 to 2020.

Full-time students can earn their MBA through Radford in two years without having to take summer courses, and part-time MBA students can finish the program online, setting their own pace, in two years minimum and six years maximum.
