Radford’s Clark Three Rivers, Region 2C offensive Player of year

RHS quarterback Landen Clark is the district and region offensive Player of the Year.

Radford High School quarterback Landen Clark is only a junior, but is on the verge of rewriting all of the Bobcats’ offensive football categories.. 

In honor of his success, Clark has been named the 2022 Three Rivers District and Region C offensive Player of the Year. 

Clark was 130 for 192 passing this season with 2,396 yards and 36 touchdowns. He also rushed 97 times for 404 yards with another six touchdowns.

He was joined on the first-team all-Three Rivers District offensive squad by Radford offensive linemen Andrew Moore and Jordan Moore, running back David Woodward, and receivers Marcell Baylor and Parker Prioleau. 

Clark was also named to the first-team defensive unit as a defensive back and the second team as the punter. Also, on the defensive side of the ball, first-teamers included linebackers Charlie Davis and Max Kanipe and Prioleau at defensive back. 

Radford players named to the second-team offense were offensive lineman Jackson Wade and receiver Max Kanipe. Second-team Radford defensive players were linemen Matt Martin and Brandon Thompson. 

Clark was joined on the Region 2C first-team offense by Moore, Baylor and Prioleau. Radford’s Charlie Davis was named first-team all-region at linebacker with both Clark and Prioleau honored at the defensive back position. 

Jordan Moore was a second-team all-region offensive lineman and Max Kanipe was a second-team all-region linebacker.
