Radford wins slugfest with Parry McCluer

Michael Wheeler makes a tag for an out on a Parry McCluer runner. The Bobcats picked up a 14-12 win on Wednesday.
Radford’s Eric Burdette rounds third to score a run against Parry McCluer. The Bobcats had to hold off the visitors not once but four times to pick up the win. Burdette would finish three of four at the plate with three RBIs.
Reece Williamson slides safely into third base for the Bobcats. Williamson was five for five at the plate with six RBIs.
Taylor Newcome on the mound for the Bobcats as they used six different pitchers in the contest. Connor Phillips would be credited with the win after pitching three and a half innings. Newcome would finish three for three at the plate with two walks and four runs scored.
Radford shortstop Ty Hamblin fires a throw to first for the out. Radford is now 10-5-1 on the season and has won six of its last seven games.
