RADFORD – The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered by Radford University’s Davis College of Business and Economics has been recognized in The Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2021: On-Campus MBA Programs.

The Princeton Review, an education company known for its college and graduate school rankings, released its best on-campus MBA list December 8 as part of its Best Business Schools for 2021 guide.

“We recommend Radford University as an excellent choice for an aspiring MBA,” said Rob Franek, the review’s editor-in-chief.

The company’s lists of best business schools are based on a combination of institutional and student survey data, including career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor.

“Having our program recognized as one of the best by The Princeton Review is always a great honor,” said MBA Program Director Thomas Duncan. “The Radford MBA is characterized by outstanding students and faculty. It is great to see them receive the recognition they deserve on such a prestigious list.”

The Princeton Review calculated its 2021 lists from survey data of almost 24,000 students enrolled in MBA programs at 369 colleges and universities and from administrators at those schools. In all, the revies made recommendations for 244 MBA programs.

“This recognition is yet another feather in the cap of the Radford MBA that attests to its high quality and yet another element of pride for the Davis College,” said Joy Bhadury, the Davis College’s dean. “Congratulations and my sincerest thanks are due to the director, Dr. Thomas Duncan, Ms. Sandy McGrady, our graduate curriculum committee and all our graduate faculty who have helped build a world-class graduate program.”

The Radford University MBA provides a broad-based, cross-functional education in core business areas with targeted electives in analytics and innovation designed to prepare students for advanced leadership roles in private and public sectors of the global economy.

Graduate business courses provide experiential learning opportunities that engage students in the educational process, thereby providing a bridge between theory and practice.

Radford University MBA courses are available through an innovative trimodal instruction platform in which students may participate in courses in the classroom on the Radford campus, online in synchronous interactive sessions or through recorded sessions.

Full-time students can earn an MBA at Radford University in two years without taking summer courses. Part-time MBA students can complete the program online in as little as two years with summer courses or take as long as six years.

Davis College offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics jointly with SAS Analytics, a leader in data analytics software and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market. This certificate provides students with the tools to differentiate themselves in the job market and bridge the gap between discipline-specific knowledge and the ability to analyze relevant data for informed decision making.

Students enrolled in Davis College’s MBA program can earn the joint certificate as part of their studies. The certificate also complements many degree programs offered at Radford University. MBA students also have the option of earning a concentration in business analytics by taking an additional course beyond the requirements for the certificate.

Radford University’s Davis College is among the few business schools in the world to achieve elite accreditation status from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). This accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools. Fewer than 5% of the world’s business schools are AACSB accredited.
