Radford Public Library was recently recognized on the state level for programs and services.
The library “is excited to receive recognition from the Virginia Public Library Directors Association (VPLDA) for programs and services,” RPL recently announced. “Information Technology Coordinator Duncan [Hall] received the award for Outstanding Young Adult Program for his VR Vednesday program, a virtual reality program that teens and all ages have participated in. RPL also received an Outstanding Service Innovation for Saint Francis Facility Dog, Oliver, who interacts with patrons of all ages. Programs and services are directly supported by the whole library team.”
