Radford native Wilbert Kellerman, the son of Radford residents Margaret Stone and Fred Kellerman, is making his Lincoln Center debut July 27 and 28, singing the role of the officer in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville with Teatro Nuovo. These performances mark the return of live opera to the cultural center, the first performance before a live audience in more than a year. Kellerman is a graduate of Radford High School, who later received degrees from James Madison University and the Mannes School of Music in New York City.
