Radford Girl Scout Troop 877’s Kindergarten and First Grade Daisies met to help Meals on Wheels recently. The Daisies decorated 50 white paper bags with drawings, stickers and kind notes. After the bags were decorated, fresh fruit from the Radford Produce Company was placed in each bag. The bags were then donated to the Radford-Fairlawn Our Daily Bread to go out with the weekday Meals on Wheels program. The Daisy girls really enjoyed the drawing portion, learning about Meals on Wheels and serving the community. — Submitted by Renee Maxwell
