RADFORD – The 2025 season of the Radford Farmers Market began Saturday, with more than 40 vendors, live music and food trucks.
The market vendors sold an array of baked goods, flower and vegetable plants, fresh meats, cheeses and eggs, craft items, microgreens, dip mixes, candles, produce, jewelry and more. As the season progresses, more fresh produce will join the list of available items.
Saturday’s opening day brought out a big crowd of shoppers, dogs and even a pet chicken to enjoy the spring weather. While shopping was paramount, the day also brought the community together to enjoy music and good conversation.
The market is held each Saturday now through October, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., on the lower grounds of Glencoe Mansion, 600 Unruh Drive, Radford.
