Radford dominates Region C, TRD soccer teams

The Radford High School boys’ soccer team fell 1-0 to Glenvar in this past week’s state Class 2 state championship. Wednesday, the Three Rivers District and Region C all-star teams were announced with heavy-sided Radford representatives.

Brady Schull led the Cat pack on the first team with teammates Enzo Pugliese, Andre Stuart, Drew Edwards and Eli Goff.

Three Bobcats were named to the second team in Robert Fuksz, Dawson Marting and Goalie Charlie Davis. 

Radford picked up five places on the first team all-Region C team. Shull, Pugliese and Goff were joined by Fuksz and Davis.

On the girls’ side of the field, Radford also fell Saturday and placed four players on the Three Rivers District first team. The group included Kendall Carpenter, Lauren Owens, Reagan Bryant and Hollybrook Cline. Second teamers were Izzy Lytton, Kora Epperly and Anna Vinson. 

Carpenter led the Radford contingent on the first team region squad with Owens, Bryant and Cline. Lytton, 

Epperly and Abby Hodock were named to the second team.
