Radford City Schools announce free summer meals for children

RADFORD – Radford City Public Schools will be serving meals at no charge to children 18 and under at Belle Heth Elementary School for the majority of summer break. 

Meals are available to all children from June 6 through June 30 and from July 18 through Aug. 4.

Meals will be provided, on a first-come, first-served basis at the following times and location: 

Belle Heth Elementary School  

Breakfast: 8 a.m.- 8:45 a.m.; Lunch: 11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be available from June 6 through June 30, Monday through Thursday. 

Belle Heth Elementary School 

Breakfast 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.; Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. 

Breakfast and lunch will be available beginning July 18 and continuing through Aug. 4, Monday through Thursday .

Students must consume meals on the Belle Heth Elementary School campus. Pick-up is not available. Contact the Radford City Public Schools Department of the School Nutrition Program at (540)267-3229 or email cwood@rcps.org for all questions, or visit www.rcps.org.
