Radford Bobcats narrowly defeated by Glenvar

Kira Rollins, up at bat, was responsible for four out of five runs for Radford.

On Tuesday night the Radford Bobcats opened district play against the Glenvar Highlanders. 

Radford and Glenvar traded leads three times in a game played under the lights due to a rain delay. The Highlanders took the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth inning when Hannah Street singled, scoring two runs. The Bobcats collected 12 hits on the day with Kira Rollins and Addie Saunders going three for four from the plate with Rollins driving in four of the five Radford runs on the day. Quinn Burton and Ariel Sutphin also collected multiple hits for the Bobcats and Saunders, Rollins and Ella Cox each doubled during the game. Quinn Burton took the loss for the Bobcats, spreading out seven hits over six innings and striking out seven. For Glenvar, Hannah Street went two for four and picked up the save. Teubert collected the win going six innings giving up 12 hits and five runs. The fibnal score was 6- 5, Glenvar.
