Quesenberry, Inez Hope Jones

Inez Hope Jones Quesenberry, 89, of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 3, 1927 in Wythe County to the late William Thomas Jones and Stella Gilbert Jones.


She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Quesenberry, Jr. and son Phillip Quesenberry. She was also preceded by one sister, Virginia Musser, and brothers, William “Doc” Jones, Jr. and Walter “Amos” Jones.

She is survived by one son, Terry G. Quesenberry and wife Linda of Kingsport, Tenn.; two grandsons, Taylor Quesenberry of Kingsport, Tenn. And Mackenzie G. Quesenberry and wife Ashley of Knoxville, Tennessee; and one great-granddaughter, Eva Quesenberry of Knoxville, Tennessee; and special nephew, Tommy Jones of Max Meadows.

She was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Pulaski and a volunteer at Pulaski Community Hospital until her 87th year. She was a former member of the Women’s Club of Pulaski where she served for many years as an officer and board member. She was a former member and officer of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Pulaski. A celebration of her life will follow at 3 p.m. with Dr. John Dunstan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church of Pulaski, 524 Jefferson Avenue North, Pulaski, VA 24301.

The Quesenberry family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
