Poff, Elva Lou

Elva Lou Poff, of Pilot, went to her eternal home on Sunday, Jan. 29. She is preceded in death by her mother Elsie Mae Linkous, her father, Harvey Lewis Pearman and her brother Buddy Pearman.

She was a beautiful soul to all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her lifelong companion, Elbert Arvil Keith; her children Pamela Whittaker (Donald), Dodie Webb (Billy), Kimberly Haug (Heath), Kevin Poff (Joy), Mandi Huff (Mark), and Arvil’s children, Sheila Keith, and Billy Keith (Tammy); fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-gra
ndchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings Phyllis Musselman (Wayne), Jeanette Surface (Bucky),  Lois  Shark, Dana Pearman Jewel (Jim), Gary Pearman (Karon), Connie Melvin (Jimmy), and Ricky Pearman, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family received guests at McCoy Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at McCoy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve and Marilou Akers, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg. 

Flowers will be appreciated or contributions may be made to Riner Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 858, Riner, VA 24149, or the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office Citizens Support Group, P.O. Box 1305, Christiansburg, VA 24068.
