The pets-of-the-week are from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the Radford News Journal features a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. Ollie, a 9-month-old male, is a playful pup is a Beagle/Hound mix who is always up for an adventure! He loves meeting new friends and would do best in an active home where he can show off his youthful energy. Ollie is neutered and vaccinated.Big Mama, a soon-to-be 3-year-old female, is a pretty kitty that was brought to the Animal Care and Adoption Center in June and was recently adopted but was returned due to a human’s allergies. The short-time adopter says Big Mama was a perfect lady in the home. Big Mama is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and litter box trained.
