Each Saturday the paper features a dog and a cat from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg).
Rosie, 6, came to Animal Care and Adoption Center in January. Since that time, she has shown how great she is walking on a leash and how much she loves treats (she sometimes tosses her head back to encourage humans to pass them her way!) This Boxer-Labrador Retriever mix is a sweet gal who would do best as the only pet in the home. Stop by if you’re interested in meeting her. Her adoption fee is $25.This young cat returned to the Animal Care and Adoption Center after being with a foster, where she was able to take care of her own kittens as well as a few others who needed some nurturing. She is a sweet and loving calico weighing about 9 lbs. Cinderella, 1, doesn’t require a Prince Charming but we’d love for her to have a fairy tale ending in a furever home.
