At this time, visits to the Animal Care and Adoption Center are limited to one party at a time in the lobby area. Animal areas are not open to the public. To schedule an appointment to meet a prospective pet call (540) 382-5795 or email animalcenter@montgomerycountyva.gov.

Fluffette has been a resident at the Animal Care and Adoption Center since the start of the year and she’s ready to find her furever home. She will do best in a quieter home that doesn’t overstimulate her senses, as she can be a little skittish at times. She has lived with other cats in the past.

Meet Moose. He’s a younger dog with some puppy energy, and he would enjoy a home where he can run and play. He’s a happy boy that will need some training, doggie manners, and someone who can show him the ropes in life. A meet-and-greet is a must for a home with another dog. Moose knows some basic commands and is treat-motivated.
