Nancy Ann Linkous Parish, 86, of Mount Airy, N.C. passed from this life Feb. 28, 2024.
Nancy was born and raised in Montgomery Co., Va. She was the daughter of the late Arnold R. Linkous and Oveda Linkous. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Arnold “Sonny” R. Linkous. She preceded her husband Robert K. Parish in death by one day. Robert K. Parish, originally from Galax, Va., passed away Feb. 29, 2024.
Family left to cherish her memories are sons Randy Parish and his wife Amanda, and Andy Parish; granddaughter, Katie Parish Pierson and her husband Jim; sister Rita L. Callahan and her husband Eddie; sister-in-law Susan Linkous; nieces DeAnne C. Webb and husband John, and Farrah Linkous; nephews Todd Callahan and his wife Pam, Darrell Linkous, and his wife Stephanie; two step grandsons Daniel and Eli Harbaugh; and step great granddaughter Avery Pierson.
Nancy and her husband were graduates of Kentucky Christian University and spent their 64 years together spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. They served congregations in Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, and North Carolina.
They have gone home together to meet the Lord. Dual services to celebrate their lives and ministry were held Saturday, Mar. 9, 2024 with visitation preceding the service at Moody Funeral Home, Dobson, N.C. Burial followed at the Double Creek Church of Christ, Dobson, N.C.
